DAY 1: HO CHI MINH - CAI BE - CHAU DOC (L, D)

This is especially interesting for those who just spend a short time, this trip provide with an overview of this typical Vietnam. On the way, you can see the green paddy fields stretching towards the horizon.

Upon arrival in Cai Be, we"ll be on board for an exploration of lush vegetations of Mekong delta. Next a rowing boat rides on the maze of shady canals to arrive at a local orchard to enjoy the local tropical fruits and see the daily activities, the handicraft village (bee farm, rice paper, coconut candy,...) of the locals. Lunch at the orchard fruits garden.

Continue to Chau Doc. At there, check in at hotel and free time to explore the city.

DAY 2: CHAU DOC FLOATING HOUSE & TRA SU CAJUPUT FOREST (B,L)

Have breakfast, embark on a motorboat to the floating market, a fish farmand, Cham minority village.

Continue to Tra Su cajuput forest which has been restored since 1983 with a current extension area of 840 hectares. This ecological spot is the habitat of many general of Water birds (mostly stocks), colonies of bats and various rare animal bird species. Especially tourist will be flabbergasted by small house on stilts with rudimentary bamboo ceilings that are firmly tight-end to cajuput trees, making an unusual existence in the quiet ambience of the forest.

We take a motorboat into the heart of the forest to see the bird net and have a walk up to stop of the tower to see the views and enjoy the fresh air.

Back to Chau Doc, Have lunch at a local restaurant then continue to your next destination.
